Once again, the Vac2Go team needs to give a huge and well deserved shout out to ProCal for doing an amazing (and quick) installation job. This time, instead of adding decals to one of our vacuum trucks, we completely wrapped a 2013 Ford F150. That’s right, our advertising is going mobile!
Over the past several years, we have all seen the explosion in mobile advertising. Most of us have seen the Red Bull or Monster vehicles at a sporting event or just riding around town. The traditional forms of advertising (TV commercials, radios spots, print ads, billboards and even sign flippers) are stationary and set in one location. If you are not in that specific location, you will not see the advertisement. Either the advertisement needs to come to you or you will have never known it was there. With a vehicle wrap, we are bringing the message to you, the people.
Believe it or not, the idea of “vehicle wrapping” may have begun as early as the 1900’s or even sooner. As you can see in the photo below, mobile advertising is not a new idea so anyone who thinks this is a fresh concept is just being an ass! (get it…)
When considering whether to purchase a vehicle wrap, keep the following in mind.
- Your product
- Your market
- Your target audience
- Your message
- Your budget
If you decide to move forward with a vehicle wrap, here are some interesting points:
- Wraps last between three and five years.
- One vehicle wrap can generate between 30,000-70,000 impressions daily.
- Fleet vehicle advertising boosts name recognition 15 times greater than any other form of advertising.
Next time you see the “Vac Mobile” driving around town, be sure to give them a honk!
